Meet Angela Payton!
Hello! I’m Angela "Ange Gos" Payton, The Securista. So cybersecurity background, huh?
I retired from Symantec/Norton Antivirus, Security and Response Team. Retiring didn't end my cybersecurity life, though. I'd decided to focus on copywriting since one aspect of my work was to help the public understand new threats as they appeared. And, well all my corporate copywriting clients were Symantec’s main competitors. They wanted less technobabble in their marketing info. But they knew they needed a unicorn... someone who'd reversed engineered malware, but mostly they wanted someone to make tech talk easy for everyone to understand training. Me.
Having wrote the report on a forensically backtracked hard-drive for the DOJ that put a pedophile away and nailed 8 of his compadres, that was frosting on the cake.
So what is a Securista? Like a barista crafts your coffee, I help you craft your strongest security against hackers.
And why have I gone back to cybersecurity? It took seeing "cybersecurity experts", with zero actual experience providing outdated “security tips” that actually put people at risk. I realized I have a wealth of the latest and most up-to-date knowledge and How-To's online business owners needed, like yesterday.
And here we are.
